Norristhorpe Junior & Infant School

An introduction

About our school

Our primary school has two buildings, one built in 1876 and the other in 1976. The newer building has recently been extended.

The younger children are accommodated in the new building, which has purpose built facilities for them. This building also contains the hall/dining room, the school office, the kitchen and the library.

The old building has classrooms, a library, resources room and the head teacher's office.

The school is set in attractive grounds, which include a large field, a wild area and pond and three playgrounds.
